What is Control, How much can we control nature, Just let go. This game has no levels, it changes speed based on how calm you are and the piece rotates based on how well you can control your emotions

DataMine Your Life - 2014

Data mining is the use of collected data for analysis. It can sometimes be seen as spyware but its uses can be seen in Facebook ads. non the less it makes people uncomfortable. We all make sounds. What if our Data was collected through Sound. This work is about Prosody and What frequencies make us feel happy or sad? How does the Sound of a room full people effect our emotions? And do those emotions spread? DataMine Your Life is an Interactive installation that deals with the discovery patterns in a hive mind like environment, Like a game of telephone. Using a Condenser Microphone, a collection of carrier sound frequency data is taken from the room but not before the sounds travels through us, the data is collected and cued to reveal advertisements queried from Google.
